Every morning started with a pinch.
It’s hard to believe your surroundings are real when you wake up in such a dreamy destination. Looking out at the boundless view I swore I was staring into a perfectly photoshopped postcard. It was the ultimate “I have to be dreaming” moment.
But a quick little pinch, to ensure my reality, was all the proof I needed. I leapt out of bed with a skip in my step and headed out to explore the hotel of my dreams… TIERRA ATACAMA.
I have been fortunate enough to visit a number of hotels around the world; all with varying characteristics and unique qualities. Through each of my experiences there is always one outstanding trait that defines each hotel just begging to be heralded. Sometimes it’s the mouth watering meals or the five-star service. Other times it’s the magnificent view or the striking decor.
But never have I stayed at a hotel where EVERY single component delivers first-class excellence, until now…

Talk about over delivering. The architecture is inspired and the location breath taking!
Tierra Atacama, nestled in the desert-scape Chillean town of San Pedro de Atacama, has it all covered! They have left no stone unturned when it comes to being the detail police.
From the moment you are greeted at reception you know you’re in better than good hands.
As part of your stay you are treated to a private session with a guide to learn about the many fabulous tours on offer. A personalised schedule was drawn up and I was booked into a number of tours that piqued my curiosity. It was quick, easy and I loved that I had adventures to look forward to during my stay.
Keep scrolling through to see my visit to some of the incredible natural wonders unique to this region of Chile including the epic landscapes of Death Valley and Rainbow Valley. I have left my heart is so many places and these spectacular landscapes will hold mine forever.
